What is an Iceberg?
Icebergs are large pieces of ice that have broken off glaciers or ice shelves, but according to NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association), "the height of the iceberg must be greater than sixteen feet (five meters) above sea level and the thickness must be 98-164 feet (30-50 meters) and the ice must cover an area of at least 5,382 square feet (500 square meters.)" Icebergs are drinkable because they are made from fresh water even though they are found in salt water. Some icebergs that break off of glaciers can be as large as cities!
